EDUCATION OMI September 15th Special Papermaking Workshop ________________________________________  Saturday, September 15th, 2012  This Saturday, welcome local artist, Carrie Tuccio, who will lead a special papermaking workshop. Explore the ancient art of handmade paper and learn how to make your own using recycled paper pulp and the traditional mold and deckle tool. See how a big bucket of mushy stuff can be transformed into a beautiful, delicate, piece of papyrus!   So that we can get really messy, our workshop will take place at the Education Pavilions (drop-off & pick-up at the Visitors Center as usual).
