03/03 Kids' Art Workshop and Upcoming Spring Camp

With our wacky weather, it seems like the animals, birds, and insects are stirring from their winter slumbers much sooner than usual. We will head into The Fields to see if we can find any evidence of woodland creatures emerging from their habitats. We will stop along the way to check out some of our sculptures that feature "shapes within shapes." We will see a "square in a square," a "triangle in a triangle," and "circles inside circles." Can you guess which sculptures we will see?

Back in the studio, we will work with glue and pastels to make drawings inspired by both shapes and creatures. Experiment with a new way of drawing by using the tip of a glue bottle. Then see how the hardened glue outlines react with the different colored pastels. Come on out and join us for this mixed media adventure!

  1. Such art camps are really beneficial for overall growth of the children. And when they are conducted with the nature, boosts the importance up to an utmost level… what education is, what nature is… it can only be described through such art camps…
