This Saturday, we will take our imaginary sleds to The Fields sledding hill where we will slide down the slopes on imaginary snow! Run, roll, skip, or find a new way to get down the hill. We will play 'Think Snow' games and maybe even do a secret snow dance! Bring your imagination...
Back in the studio, we will read, "Little Blue and Little Yellow" by Leo Leoni. In this abstract tale, a pair of best friends get separated and must search high and low until they finally reunite in the most unusual way. In a similar style to the illustrations in the book, children will create a six-sequence narrative using ripped paper forms. We will add words to help tell the story. Choose your favorite colors, make them into characters, and send them on a colorful adventure!
